Chinese Export Sterling Silver Malachite Bracelet

This is a spectacular gold washed sterling silver filigree bracelet with cloisonne enameled flowers and green malachite gemstones. 

It was made in China during the early to mid 1900's. These pieces were made for the tourist trade and sold in Chinatown souvenir shops in the US. At the time they were once considered as a lower quality jewelry, but the truth is that they were expertly made with great detail.  Chinese export malachite bracelet can be found here.
