Twiggy was born as Lesley Hornby, on Sept 19, 1949. She is an English model, actress
and singer and in the mid 60's, she became a prominent teen-age model, known
for her thin build, large eyes, long eyelashes and short hair. This is one of
my favorite photos of her, which was made by Richard Avedon in 1968. When I
look at this picture, all I can think of is - I WANT THAT VEST!
