Evening dresses by Jeanne Lanvin, Paris, 1910

Can you choose your favorite?

Jeanne-Marie Lanvin (January 1, 1867 – July 6, 1946) was a French Haute Couture fashion designer. In 1909, she was first noticed by the clothing that she made for her daughter, which attracted the attention of many wealthy people, who wanted copies for their own children. From there, Lanvin started making dresses for their mothers and for some of the most famous people in Europe. She eventually founded the Lanvin fashion house and the beauty and perfume company Lanvin Parfums.
