This is a lovely Victorian pin. It is 14K gold and has natural branch coral. I am always amazed at these pieces. How do they survive 100 years?

I have one similar with 2 pieces of coral. They are wrapped just like yours is. It’s nice to find out how old it is. I don’t think I can post a picture of it in the comments.
